Fashion and beauty blog for the more mature woman not ready to hang up the high heels yet.
So how do you clean your face at the end of the day?. Now I could go on about this for a while, I am often asked by my clients which cleanser I would recommend as a good cleanser. The first advise I will give them is to not use soap or facial wipes. They are full of chemicals, are not good for anti-ageing and they will sensitize your skin which can cause breakouts.I nearly always recommend a foaming cleanser, because there quick and easy to use, and often don't require a toner, which can also be drying. With foaming cleansers you just wet you hands foam up the cleanser, massage into your face and rinse off. I always wipe off excess with a flannel then towel dry. Job done!
Here is a few that I work with
CLARINS HERBAL CLEANSER
Good for normal/combination/sensitive skin
LIZ EARLE HOT CLOTH CLEANSE AND POLISH
Good for all skin types, may need a toner with this though
DERMALOGICA ESSENTIAL CLEANSE
Good for a more oily/combination skin
ESTEE LAUDER PERFECTLY CLEAN
This is what I use now, you can get this for normal/oily or dry/sensitive skin
Don't ever be afraid to ask any beauty counter for a sample of anything you wish to try, they want you to buy their products and are generally helpful.
