New Homeware – The Weekend Post

Hi Everyone

A bit of a different post this week. I want to tell you about a couple of homeware items I have acquired this week. The days are getting shorter, it’s nearly time to do the wardrobe swap and yes Christmas is coming! I have found a brilliant site for gifts that I will be posting next week, so do pop along for that.

I got really lucky!

Chatting to my friends at kits boutique the other week, they asked me how I was getting on with my silk Pillowcase. Now I absolutely love my silk Pillowcase! You can read all about it and the benefits of using a silk Pillowcase here

Once you start sleeping on these Pillowcases you don’t want to sleep on anything else! So when Kitts boutique did ask me how I was getting on with it I had to tell them I never wake up with it. I had to explain how every morning I wake up and my dearest other half is sleeping on it! Someone else loves it just as much as Me!

The lovely people at kitts  sent me a new one (thank you xx)I feel very lucky that they did that, and So my new Pillowcase arrived in its little bag (great for traveling)

I’m so happy that I will wake up with my pillow again! No more fighting the other half! I wash it in the machine too, and I’ve had the first one for over a year and it’s still like new. Do pop over to here to Kitts Boutique. The Pillowcases are made of the finest Mulberry silk and there are gift sets available. There are also some beautiful round beach towels on there too.

Something else that caught my eye

Having a browse around my local Tesco store in the week I spotted some gorgeous new china. Tesco has really pulled it out of the bag! I started to wander around at all the other new items that they have and I’m very impressed!

And very well priced it is too! I loved the tray, it’s a beautiful pattern.and I ended up buying a new cup and then the next day went back to get the dinner service! You know when something’s  calling you? I thought it was such a good buy. I didn’t end up buying the set above though, no, I fell in love with this…

my new homeware

I absolutely love classic White and Gold china! I think the cup is a steal at only £5.00 here and you would think it came from one of the more expensive high-end stores perfect for my breakfast!

The dinner service was a snip at only £45.00 for twelve pieces here

scott & Ivy

Scott & Ivy are hosting a whole load of lovely items for the home in Tesco My list is growing rapidly! The fur throws are really good too. Well worth a look.

Beauty This week

caudalie beauty elixer

Caudalie is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year of their iconic Beauty Elixer. I was gifted a sample to try for myself and I have to say this smells amazing!

There’s a great video with Rosie Huntingdon Whiteley to watch about the Elixer  here

I’m new to the Caudalie brand and I look forward to hearing more about it myself. This is a light mist that you can use even over your makeup. A moisturizing mist that will tone and tighten pores, boost radiance and refresh your face. I’ve used it a couple of times in the morning and it’s awakened my face that little bit quicker. Anyone over the age of fifty will know what I mean!

Take advantage of this special offer

If you are a regular customer to the Caudalie brand or want to try out their already famous beauty products I have a special code for you!

Throughout September, customers can tke advantage of a Free nourishing trio of Delux body lotion, hand cream and lip conditioner when your purchases come to £60.00 or more. This offer is available until 30th September using the code BODYCARE17 Just click on the banner on the right-hand side to be taken to the site.

 “Ten Under Twenty”

Here is this week’s Ten Under Twenty! I have added some items to keep us a bit warmer! The weather is certainly changing isn’t it? I keep looking at the news to hear about Hurricane Irma for updates as I’m keeping my fingers crossed for any of my blogger friends that may be in the path of it. Just unimaginable to even think about being in that situation, I hope everyone is safe.

My fine hair tangles terribly as I thrash in my sleep and have always wanted to try to a silk pillowcase to see if it would control that. My fear is that it would feel to slick/slippery. Will have to give Kitts a try.

I’ve been thinking about getting new pillowcases – will definitely look into silk ones as I know they are hypoallergenic and great for skin. Love your other additions, too. The china you have is absolutely gorgeous! I am partial to white and gold in combination 🙂

Wow, the China at Tesco looks so beautiful! Having a beautiful table setting definitely takes your home to the next level. I love that you’ve included a “10 under 20 section”, and the pieces you’ve linked are so cute.

I really need a silk pillowcase, my hair looks like I stuck my finger in a socket each morning – a testament to the pillow kicking my butt each night! #BloggerClubUK

I sleep on silk or satin as a rule. Hubs made the bed last weekend and didn’t know that so I’m on cotton currently. I notice the difference. Good spot with those Tesco pieces. I’ll have to pop over to my nearest one to browse. That will be an adventure for next Saturday.
